For many of you don't know, we who night players experienced a scary night. It is even more scary than Halloween...
Last night, I was joining Kwawi's wedding with Chrysania. After she logged back in, her emblem was gone. I thought her disbanned SS BP, but she started to yell... "Where is my BP?!" At very first moment, I thought she got hacked. Then I also restarted,....
"Where the hell is SoE?!"
And people were starting to get pissed and paniced...
Yepp, after I logged back in, Spirit of Eternity was gone too. I was shown there is no SoE exist. All my items and spells are gone. Then there are some people start to scream and yell all over the LoA. At very first moment, I contacted Forge and Isabeau to calm people in SoE down. I know if SoE was truly gone, I needed to inform them SoE would be back.
Truly, last night when the thing happened, I didn't care too much about my items. I know I could make those items back within a year or so. But those members in SoE couldn't be lost anyone of them. If NC really couldn't restore or roll back the game database, I know the only thing I care is SoE, and I need to restart it right away.

After a long break, at 3:12 AM EST, NC finally decided to shut server down. I went to boards on the Lineage website, people started to report the problems and complains. 20 minutes passed, NC announce server started over again.
I logged in, and everything rolled back to 2 hours ago. It is kinda like Back To The Future,... except... some people are pissed off again. Those people played 2 hours, and all those items and EXP they got are also gone too because of roll back.
I am sorry for those people. However, I think roll back is necessary. A lot of people lost their items and BPs. Too many people got involved. I am sorry about Korini, because he got RDS during the roll back time.
Most likely, NC might hold an event for us due to those people's lost during this 2 hours roll back. I am not sure they will, but I hope they will.
The conclusion is, I am really glad I got SoE back. All of you are still in here. After this incident, I will cherish you guys more than before. Because I have lost all SoE once, don't want that happened again!
